Apoplectic in the sun

Headed into Edinburgh on the bus, lovely day , and as usual we have the big diversion along George Street past the Standing Order to avoid Princes Street. The gardens look like a newly seeded field and it they are in the process of re turfing large areas.

Met RGB part way to exchange keys and popped into Imarni's to give Annie an update of our holidays and all the massages, etc.

Arrived at the pub and it looks like the tram works are back to normal, two blokes sitting in the sun dangling their legs into the hole. And they were still sitting there 90 minutes later when they started their lunch break, so they lay and had a sleep in their van with feet out the window. After lunch they moved one sheet of meta and then sat down again. Wee guy wandered about , made phone calls , had a fag, etc. Lazy B'ssssssssssss. And they knocked off early at 3.55 p.m!!!

Where is their supervision ? But the excuse will be that they had no hard core / materials for the job.
What is worse though , is the way the guys sit and letch at passing females, you might say that this is perfectly normal for workies, but one women was seriously perturbed when she heard one bloke being outrageously crude to a thirteen year old girl.

I hear now that England actually won last night.

Had to go visit the shop and found this sculpture of Jamie with his "carry oot" at the side of the road, it is actually to commemorate the site of an old Edinburgh Brewery.

Sad news of the latest helicopter crash in the North Sea off Aberdeen, sixteen dead but some of the bodies are still missing - just terrible.
