Iffy weather - but got there all the same.

Blooming perishing this morning , rain , wind etc and down to about 4 C - really wanted to head back for a duvet day , but needs must - and in any case it is now nice and bright, still windy , just a wee bit like me !!
First surprise was a lovely E mail from one of regular "readers" of the blog - who I eventually discovered was Karen, daughter of my best man , the ancient Grumpy Futtock @ Graeme. Very nice to hear from her, despite the fact she was looking for a wee favour , local knowledge, networking, etc. which is fine bearing in mind one of my long standing motto's, which came from my former Scout training - was - "know your resources and utilise them to the fullest".

She is doing very well , working for a pharmaceutical company, nice wee flat, likes sitting in the sun ( what sun) drinking her cheap Italian plonk !! and reading her " 44 Scotland Street" books

So, wrapped up against the elements and off to the Bush to meet up with Mr . A. Gay, of PSS, a really sad Hibbee to look at a job needing done there, so we were duly soaked and chilled to the bone , but task was done.
Collected Mrs. B. and headed to The Mercat Bar, where young RGB and Sir Christopher were needing a hand, while they swanned off along the street , etc, but enjoyed the session with some nice customers calling in.

Headed home, via Costco, and am now about to head off to Haddington for a Provincial visit to The Lamp of Lothian RAC, so need to dash .
had planned on doing a bit more but couple of calls slowed me down .
