An expensive "nip" of whiskey.

A few more words about the weekend, our team seen here on the steps of the William Ewart Gladstone monument in Melville Crescent; a very sad picture of our opposition seen here after a trip to the big shops for new rainwear;

We had stopped to talk to the lady outside the Georgian House, in Charlotte Square, a period house, beautifully restored and maintained by the National Trust, and next door to Bute House, home of the First Minister of the Scottish Parliament.
One of our team , Colin had friends arrive from Liverpool who joined in the after event celebrations in both The Bercat and The Voodoo bar.
Then just to finish off the weekend I dropped into the Caledonian Hotel this morning for a coffee in quiet surroundings. The whisky gantry is massive with around two hundred and forty bottles, prices ranging from £5.80p to £255.00p per 35cl measure !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not that I was buying.
