Just a flying visit

Back now after a quick scoot up and down the M8 ; M74 and M6 to Runcorn. For once I actually slept in and dived out of bed at 4.45 a.m., not like me - so it was off at the gallop and had npot caught wind by the time I met fraser in Glasgow.
Roads were relatively clear, weather was excellent with nice clear views over the Lake District to Scafell.
Jill was her usual cheery self a nd waiting with my badge - Lorriane was actually up an in at her desk, not only that she had walked to work so was bright and cheerful - her new sidekick, Amanda was there to be formally introduced, so between them , they might get organised for future runs !! I suppose that will be me in the black books -again.

Did not even stop for my bacon butty this week, just dashed back to the car and headed north to the homeland - all this palaver on the radio about St Patricks Day. So it was back to Glasgow and then a frustrating run back through to Edinburgh , and met the usual crawling traffic on the A720.; it is pure nonsense hoe the Scottish Office got away with making both roads dual carriageways and not motorways all those years ago - total lack of any foresight.
But I suppose if the current government ministers can make such a mess of the Royal Bank of Scotland carry on , and let this Sir fred Goodwin bloke get away with millions of pounds of tax payers money , anything can happen.

At least Andy Murray won yesterday - but looks like he has Nadal to meet again if he gets to the semi's.

Was planning on a sleep but have just been handed a wee task !! to do - then heading off to the Edinburgh Masonic Club later if i can keep the eyes open.
