A tirade or not - wait and see

Made it to the Bothwell Bridge Hotel, last night for the AGM of the Scottish Security Association. It was good to see many of the guys again as I have never made any meetings for about three years as they have always clashed with my masonic meetings at Bonnyrigg. Not the biggest of attendances , but all present were committed experts in various security fields, and are instrumental in running / organising a massive security exhibition/ seminars at the Audi Centre, Renfrew, an annual dinner at the Thistle Hotel, Glasgow, social meetings, etc. during the year. Was still very jet lagged and found it a bit hard to listen to the presentation on the BSIA.

So, this morning accepted a lift into town along with Mrs. B. to collect files and paperwork ; said hello to the staff and some of the clients at The Mercat Bar who had missed my happy smiling face !!!

So , on a positive note, being a beautiful sunny morning I took a walk along to the West End, into Princess Street, which has probably got one of the finest backdrops of any street in the northern hemisphere ( Edinburgh Castle and Princess Street Gardens with the Mound, Scott Monument and Balmoral Hotel), it is just so unfortunate that it is being worked on for the future tram works.
