Scotland - Ireland , Hibs and Hearts, etc.

Looks like it will be busy in the City today, local football derby game between Hibernian and Heart of Midlothian at one end of the City and then at 5 p.m. Scotland play host to Ireland at Murryfield in the RBS six nations competition. Hopefully the Mercat Bar will be busy, but they will need to do without me for a while as I am about to head off to the Installation meeting of the Soutra Isle Conclave of the O S M at Bonnyrigg.
Bus pass going to come in handy as the traffic and parking will be terrible in the town. i see Mrs Johnston , (Sandra) has been out test waving her shiny new bus pass !!

To the other Mrs. J. ( Cee Jay) still no sign of the photos , so i have no idea where they are being sent , certainly not to my E mail.

The Mercat Bar had a nice write up in the Edinburgh Evening News on Thursday night , one of the reporters was writing up about some of his favourite places to eat out in the Town , nice to get a surprise compliment.

Busy few days ahead, with work in the pub next few days, a run to Runcorn on Tuesday, and several masonic meetings. Young friend going to join Edinburgh Defensive band 151 on Tuesday, when hopefully i will be back from Runcorn and not too tired to attend.

Enough - a big bus beckons.
