really confusing day

well, as I said I ended up helping out at the Mercat , which , although not too busy was steady. Friend, Lawrence was pleased to see me once again and commentated favourably on the refurbishment taking place.

On my way home I stopped off to take a photo of this colourful bed of crocus and mini daffodils - I think we are a few weeks short of the William Wordsworth's quote on " I wandered lonely as a cloud till all at once I saw a crowd, a crowd of daffodils",

The canal in Edinburgh is part of the Forth - Clyde canal which has been upgraded during the Millenium funding- the part on the photo is used as a canoe training school and the lead off for the rowing clubs. It is interesting to note that for years barges, etc sailed all the way west to Glasgow switching at the interchange which is now the site of the new spectacular Falkirk Wheel.

Back on the old tune again - we hear tonight of more incidents of bullying within the City of Edinburgh Social Work Department, same old story of managers covering for negligence, etc, and simply taking the easy way out. Me - I called on the Chief Exec's Office, a real gentleman - who sadly will have to carry the can for his idol, devious, minions. He promises one thing - they ignore his dictates !!!!

Tramworks are supposedly at a standstill - over 100 grievance claims regarding the work / or lack of it going on/.

Alex Salmond, First Minister, of all people, publicaly having a go at the Romanov , the owner of Heart of Midlothian football club, it is taking him all his time to run the Country so why is he interfering in football teams?

Andy murray back in action tonight - and presently not doing too well - get your finger out.
