Things looking up at the Mercat Grill, we have been fully booked for X-mas Day now for the past three weeks, and that was without any advertising  -  and already having a fair bit of interest in our pre-christmas lunches/ dinners.

BUT  more interesting, a lady appeared for lunch today with her friend,  having read about the Grill in a magazine in Chicago ( The Windy City), USA,.  Her friend, who lives locally was really surprised to discover where she was to have lunch, however the experience was good and she will be back.    Out of interest they both met sever years ago whilst on a cruise  ( on the River Clyde!!!) and have been close friends ever since.
