Sunday , lovely day for a brisk run in the sun !! So off to Hopetoun House, South Queensferry, to see who was taking part in the Tesco sponsored, 10K run in aid of Cancer Research.Super venue, nice single lap around the estate, bit hilly and enough to make many of the 1600 runners break sweat.
Good crowd gathered round the stage to take part in a serious warm up, then it was ready for the off.
We even met two of the girls who appeared in the recent picture in the Edinburgh Evening News when the Merfcat won the local awards.
Time for the off, and away went the serious runners and so on down the list till they were all away, bar one !!!
Last man out, RGB of the Mercat Team who had been in the loo when the gun went off - he had to do some chasing to catch up - and shouting "wait for me " did not work - so the results will be in the next blog
