Total chaos this evening as road works on the A702 by Hillend Ski Centre brought the homebound traffic to a halt with queues right into the City of Edinburgh, tail backs onto the City By Pass and tempers boiling over. At the same time a serious accident in Bonnrigg closed off the main road, then another two on the A701 - perfect commuting conditions - I hope the highways folks get their pammies tomorrow.
Pleased to say that the "Time Machine", which had ground to a halt is now away for repair, however, sounds a bit more serious as it could be the clutch which has sheared.
Dougz, my room mate for the French trip was through at the Mercat Grill this morning, where he met up with our author colleague, Peter Ritchie, for a blether. If you know a book group who would like a talk / reading from Peter, he is happy enough to do so,
