Bright and frosty morning

What a stunning morning, but for the second morning, a hard white frost on the ground so any bedding plants would have been hammered once again, however forecast for the day is good, it is to be warmer here than yesterday which turned out to be very nice.

I have been awake half the night, very restless, so got up early and have had a quiet morning so far, sitting watching the birds eating nuts and seed from the new feeders. It has been odd but for a long time, probably since our wee budgie met an untimely end in the garden , murdered by the neighbours cat I think, the general bird population has kept away - hopefully now we will have a few fethered visitors to watch.

Change of plans today, thought I was off South once again, but that is to be next week - gives me time to get sorted and enjoy the weekend. Big "Doo" on Friday night, off to meet Lucille and friends as she retires after thirty seven years service with Lothian and Borders Police as a typist / clerkess at Penicuik Police Station.
Sunday is the AGM of RA 500 Laird O Cockpen, better not miss that.
