Royal wedding - the crowds

The Police estimated that there were over One million spectators on the the route through London and despite this there were only about fifty arrests. It is the crowds / the people who really make this kind of event. Sadly this was fifty more than there should have been . Those present enjoyed the spectacle and I have to say that the BBC's coverage was exemplary throughout.

The sight of the crowd marching down the Mall behind the Police line was reminiscent of the crowds following the final pairs down the last fairways at the Open Golf tournaments - very orderly, but today there were tens of thousands there and no trouble.

For those who are not happy with the way we do things the "British Way", and those who are hell bent in turning this into a third World state, it is time to take a hike back to where you came from.

Royal Wdding -6 - On the balcony at Buckingham Palace

From the Abbey back to Buckingham Place by horse drawn carriages and after a wait the crowd were treated to a superb "Kodak Moment" with the bride, groom and family out on the balcony. Unable to get the photos of the fly past which was brilliant with the Lancaster bomber, flanked by a Hurricane and a Spitfire but the Royals did and had to crane their necks to do so.

Royal wedding part 5 - the Vows

It has been a busy morning here, the Coordinator has been been very busy, not amused at Mrs Cameron who appeared with no hat !!! Pictures a bit out of sequence with so much taking place.

The bride, the new Duchess of Cambridge was stunning in her lace outfit, and William was immaculate - his brother Harry, showing the mischievous side of the family, even in front of the gathered guests.

Bubbly was the order of the day and these three Royalists !!! took advantage of the occasion for a quick drink before "the sun was over the yard arm"

The pomp and ceremony, brilliant, the occasion brilliantly orchestrated and as the Archbishop said, it was an occasion when all those billions watching should rejoice in peace - just sad that there are minority groups who are hell bent on the opposite.
