It was nice to be able to be dazzzeled for a bit

Summer sun and winter rain all in a matter of hours. Yesterday morning the sun was shining as I was heading for Booker's Cash and Carry at Musselburgh so I stopped off to take a few breaths of the sea air at Fisherrow harbour. As you can see the tide was out, and I did not realise how far out it did go, as there were folks walking a dog quite far out from the beach.
The yachts were lined up on the quayside straining at their ties for the summer tides to arrive and the opportunity to return to the sea.

And I must add that the public "loos" in the car park were absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean and can certainly give the majority of similar "loos" a great run for their money.
We were lucky that the weather turned mild last night as the rain came on, otherwise we would have been up to our knees in snow - BUT - we are not, so no hosepipe ban here - YET.
