Not really sure how happy H.M. Queen Elizabeth is, perhaps not too amused that young Zara Tindale only managed to get a Silver medal on the team eventing - however she must be a bit happier tonight with the results of Helen Glover and Heather Stanning in the women's rowing and of course our latest Golden boy, young Mr Bradley Wiggins who blew away the opposition in the men's pursuit to take himself into the record books.
Must not forget Chris Froome who also picked up the Bronze medal in the same race - well done folks.
Now we need to wait and see how our swimmers and gymnasts do as the day progresses. Men's hocky team doing fine despite a well fought draw ; boxers the same and even one of our young ladies in the archery - come on Team GB, do not be put off by Soapy Salmond sitting in midden in London, compliments of the Scottish public !!
So far this has been a hectic day for me, not so good for the behooky which is still suffering !!
