Friday, funeral and visitors

Yet another six a.m. rise, glorious morning and a nice run into the town to get up and running. big couple of days ahead!!!

Bit of a problem in the kitchen when the white hand gang struck at Jeff's botty - who is the culprit ?

Busy during the morning , then headed off to the crematorium for the funeral, It was a lovely service and send off for Oswald McPherson Nimmo, aged 99 years , but I think Chris and the family are planning a birthday party on 9th December to celebrate his 100th. There was a good turn out and many carried on to the small reception afterwards to pay their respects to Elizabeth, Roy, Chris, Jill and Kathryn.

Back to the Mercat, where, once the bloody Tramworkers had cleared off began to pick up with the visitors for the Heiniken Cup Final tomorrow. Leicester v Leimster, full house with 67000 plus at Murrayfield

I spoke to one group who had booked flights with Ryanair the day and destination of the final was declared, they got a cheap flight for about 12 Euro, but Ryanair then cancelled the flight and put on a new one at 210 Euros, yet another example of Corporate theiving, so instead of a short flight they had a long trip vis belfat, Hollyhead, Liverpool and train to Edinburgh. BUT they had steaks and thought they were superb.

The table I photographed were all local from Edinburgh and Dunbar - happy as Larry.

Not heard much from Archie the Pole dancer or Tracy recently, so hopefully, they , plus Alan, Carol and Sarah are doing OK.

Mrs B had done the Bookers run for us and had met young Carrie and at the same time her partner had arrived with the wee one, who is lovely, so all the fund raising is for a good cause.

RGB and Jo Jo now in Shanghai heading home.
