After a busy afternoon headed home , to an empty house, no such luck, Mrs. B. had not run away !! But by the time she got back I was already gets set to head off to Newbattle for a meeting of Gorebridge RA.
Penicuik is getting a new roundabout built to give access to the new Lidl Store being built, so not only do we have the similar traffic chaos as Edinburgh , we will end up with more empty shops as Lidl steals the custom from other local shops.
But I digress, made it to Newbattle where there was quite a good attendance, Mr Moonie in good fettle and looking forward to his Installation on Saturday; Mr McKeen who was a bit cheeky tonight, wanting me to purchase a tie, and to make sure I responded properly to the wonderful speech he is going to give !! So I had better rewrite mine.
Ian Robertson , DJ extraordinaire of Black Diamond FM, was telling me he has packed in his job after several years on prime time !! He was very good.
Our pal, Simon ( the pieman ) was getting all organised for his wedding which is immanent - and we hope he has a great day.
Call from Iain about the car - suppliers sent the wrong spring so it will get fixed for another twenty four hours.
