I suppose it was the only bright occurrence of the evening , although, having been roped in to do some tiling and painting at the mercat, i only heard part of the game and saw nothing. But as usual it was nail biting up to the very end with back to the wall, etc. I think they are asking a lot to win the next three in a row.
At least Fergusson and McGregor were kept on the bench after their antics.
Turned out to a be a busy evening , had to go collect Iain the mechanic who came over and then nursed the car to the garage with the broken spring , looks like it will be fixed by tonight.
Really annoyed that we did not get in to wish Claire a Happy Birthday yesterday, but she had a round of golf so that would keep[ her happy, and the fact that her kitchen has been painted and the tiles fixed will help a little. By the time I got finished it was 12.30 a.m. and my old bones were creaking a bit.
Have waited for ages for my return visit to get "scoped" once again , so now the appointment has come in , for two days before my return visit to the specialist - not amused at the thought of all that gagging and choking, et.
Need to scoot - getting the big bus to town, covering for RGB and bringing his motoer hoem to hopefully swap over tonight and get it serviced as well.
PS I believe that England were lucky last night to avoid defeat !!!
