Great Grog and Fine Dining at The Mercat Bar.

Saturday was a busy day at The Mercat Bar with things building up for the evening of fine wine and dining held as a joint venture between the Mercat and the Great Grog wine company.
Nearly a full house, as , unfortunately five of the guests failed to turn up - and sadly we had a group of regulars upstairs who were wishing to join in but with not knowing who was where they dined upstairs.

The meal was superb, and fully appreciated by everyone present, with Claire our Head Chef producing the menu and Great Grog supplying the wines.
For those who did not attend, here is what they missed.

Yet another great night at The Mercat Bar, and the fact that we had one guest celebrating his "40th - again" was nice. Our own Sir Charles, was 21 again on Friday so he has made a weekend of it - more to that story later!!!!!!
