It was with extreme sadness that I attended the funeral service of Jock Watson, former Social Convenor, / bar Steward of Lodge 720 Dalhousie Bonnyrigg, who I have known for the past forty five years in one role or another. Jock died suddenly(aged 77) in the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh.
He and his wife Ann ran the bar at 720 for twenty six years and only retired a couple of years ago.
There was a large turn out at the Crematrorium despite the shocking weather, a nice service and some fond memories shared.
My thought and wishes are with the family , John (Jock) Watson - R.I.P.
