So later in the day, following advanced notice from Archie @ Pole Dancer, we headed to the Standing Order
where Archie's young sister in law had arrived with lots of her friends, using this as a starter for a night out on the town. It was great to see them all, many having travelled fair distances. lovely to meet the wee group from Durham who knew all the places where I used to live all those years ago.

I reminiced about the first time we met, which was in a "Wendy House" during wee Camryn's 1st birthday party!!!!!! Now just what do you make of that - twenty adults stuffed in a "Wendy House" with a keg of lager!!
We later had a brilliant holiday in Barbados to attend the wedding of Achie and Tracy.
Sorry that Alan and Carol could not make it tonight, but we appreciate that Alan is still recovering from a serious illness and would have loved to have been there - keep on the mend.
The cake was beautiful, made for Sarah by a friend, a true work of art.
