Headed off to Dalkeith last night for a meeting of Esk 42 Royal Arch , which was John Wright's last meeting in the chair. His successor, Duncan Gemmell was present so we look forward to seeing him installed next month at which event hopefully the Supreme 1st Principle , Ian Fraser, will be present . HOWEVER, after the official meeting there was an extremely funny working of a "Spoof Degree" which John and friends had produced for his great pal, Bert Waite. Bert, a Welshman, through and through , is always the "butt" of various jokes about sheep, etc., so he was invested into the Order of the Good Shepherd. A really well thought out and presented "Spoof", and Bert was really thrilled to have been set up in such a brilliant fashion.
