I really should be getting on with things, but

Friday night, feet up and watching NCIS - great, Abbie is my favourite and the series is fist class. never mind, it has been busy, yesterday we took a run to sunny Bathgate to catch up on the news from a friend over there, but with the sun shining I was keen to get back and do a bit of tidying and pottering out the back. So home we came, having passed a nice wee vehicular accident in Bathgate, someone taken to hospital.
Home and into the garage where it was like hacking my way through the jungle - a bit of a mess, and having said that we have a young lad in Penicuik who was going through the pigsty of his bedroom and found an old lottery ticket which turned out to be a winner worth £53,000 - well done.
So, garage was slowly sorted, and even managed to get the steed of steel fired up, tires up to pressure and had a run out to ease out the joints. Amazing what you find especially when you think they are lost, and worse still when you have already bought replacements !!
My neighbour was saying that he thought he had lost some tools from his garage which is invariably lying unlocked while he is improving his DIY skills - yet another example of why we have to be more security conscious.
Even more blatant was the theft of a lap top from a friend who was on a train, but sitting listening to his "Eye pad"!!!!

Missed the birthday of the upside down girl, Caitlin, on Thursday - happy birthday, and hope you and your bump (not Robbo) are doing well.
Wine lunch at the Mercat Bar on Saturday at 1.30 p.m., if it is anything like the one they had last month, it will be fun. Next event worth mentioning will be Mother's day on Sunday 18th, at the Dolphin Inn, which, if like last year, will be busy.
