Ache's and pains ,a long day but better that way

Short and sweet tonight. - suffering from a sore back again and it is giving me "gype", so not in a good mood, however "Cruella" will sort me out tomorrow, which hopefully will have me up and running for a Runcorn run on Thursday.

Big surprise today when I arrived to find West Maitland Street restored to its former glory, not a barrier in sight and no holes anywhere - but how long will this last - BUT - more to the point, just how much money have we lost due to this debacle, initiated by the intelligenti within Edinburgh City Council - a lot!!!
Did not get the chance to get organised today before the first customers arrived and from then on it just kept on going, one group after the other. however aided by Justine ; Fiona; Kim; Claire ; Jemma and RGB of course - we coped.
Nice wee surprise when a lovely group of young ladies arrived for lunch to round off their hen weekend. They were in on Saturday when they first arrived and would not let on what was arranged for Steph, the bride to be. They had thoroughly enjoyed their weekend and were ready for the coach home to Durham County and York areas, most surprised that I knew from my days of youth where most of them lived. So hopefully, Steph, Gemma, Katie, Emma, Beccah; Lyndsay; Dani; Jill; Eve; Pat; Gillian; Mother in law to be Denise; Jill; Gen; Lynda; Harriet and Lorna, will have a good run home. Come back and see us again
