Had a so called long lie, but having once again had a poor night there was no point . BUT up, and headed to The Mercat bar for 10 a.m. - place was busy , and I was followed in by about twelve others, so it was a case of "have no fear , Stuart is here" - with all hands on deck to deal with the massed throng. It continued like that till 2 p.m. . During lunch time we had a few "Mercat Virgins" in , namely locals who were giving us their first visit, plus tables full of regulars. This included Sharon, Julie and Jan - it being Sharon's ( 21st !! - not) so she was treated to an illuminated plate of macaroni and cheese !!!!.
We had Iona working today , she is from Townsville in Oz same township that our three "Upside down folks" were from who came in on Wed and Thursday. She is not my favourite lady having likened me to Harold Robinson from Neighbours !!
My favourite tramway workmen had all cleared off by 2.30 p.m. and the mini digger driver was sitting in his moter ready to roll - they have a better job than the PM - and less responsibility.
Had yet another run in with the "nice" lady at John Lewis PLC, at this rate the carpet will be done before we can get some kind of resolution.
About time to get changed and ready for the off - another installation tonight - at RA 305 , Honour Concorde and Fidelity, Loanhead.
