Missing my comfy bed

Bit of a record last night, made it to Midnight in bed then gave up and headed downstairs where it took ages to stop coughing and calm down - so, no more coats, etc, got the big sleeping bag out the car and settled back into the rocker again. Fell asleep with cup in my hand, and did not spill a drop. Slept Ok till 6 a.m. and nearly slept in. Freezing cold when I went out so while deicing the car my Best Man, Mr Mackay the rat catcher stopped for a chat, looking very well and ever so busy. His daughters are doing him proud, he has another graduation to attend shortly, then off to Italy for a long weekend, free digs !! to see the other.

Later than usual getting into town so missed out on my normal parking space , but with the smaller car squeezed into a space and had a longer walk to the Bar.

Quietish morning and lunch, but young Dee the chef was pretty excited at the thought of Scottie coming back tomorrow - unknown to her he should be back now, a day early to surprise her - doubt that they will be watching the finals of Masterchef.

Headed out to the Bush on my way home, some bounder has removed loads of lead flashing from some of the roofs - at £1000 a tonne, good tax free earning for some thieving sod - and it will cost a lot more to replace it.

Just about to watch the Masterchef Final, in the meantime Manchester United are leading against Bayern Munich, but down to ten men, and Waynne Rooney just been substituted, with
40 minutes to go. UPDATE - ended up 4 - 4 on aggregate, with Bayern going through on the away goal rule,
Scots lad Druh, won Masterchef, it was an awe inspiring final with some wonderful dishes, hard to believe these chaps are amateurs.

Runcorn in the morning in the wee car, RGB's car still being "serviced" and will hopefully be ready some time tomorrow - garages - can see them far enough.

Listening the start of all the election ballyhoo on the news, looks like Gordon Brown has managed to put his big feet in it again - why can we not get the best brains in the country to sit down together and work in concert to get this countryback on its feet again - sort out the skivers, hooks crooks, and EU Benefit raiders.
