Long day in Glasgow, hit the town and headed to The Trades Hall for the December meeting of the 49 Wine and Spirit Club of Scotland - met for Aperitif's - Lanson Black Label - nice and bubbly before being summoned for lunch in the spectacular main hall. There were approximately one hundred and thirty members and guests present for what proved to be a wonderful lunch.
We had wines with each course, Bramita Del Cervo Chardonnay 2009; Santenay 1 er Cru Gravieres Jessiaume 2005; Tokey Aszu Blue label; and finished off with the 49 Club 20 Year Old Ardmore Single Malt Whiskey.
I was having problems with my camera, however, we were fortunate enough to have Thomas Haywood on hand in his professional capacity as a photographer and he was able to get me up and running again, thanks.
From the Trades Hall we visited a local hostelry !!!! before heading home by train and taxi.
