making headway

Some say "patience is a virtue", but it is hard - when you are guddling about with computers hoping for the best trying to do things you do not know much about.
So , last night I left Edinburgh when it was just about to get busy again after the Scotland - New Zealand rugby had finished, just a shame about the final score, but not really unexpected. We had a look into the Voodoo Bar to see Alex, it was a bit quiet at the time, but we hear that he had a crowd in later.

Anyway, up with the larks again, no help needed as I had yet another restless night, freezing when I left in the car and had to get out the de-icer. The place was all ship shape and back to normal when I arrived, but as I said last blog we were expecting a big group for breakfast. As it was they were late and by the time they arrived the upstairs was jam packed and we had run out of seats, so when another 60 arrived it was jumping . But our trio of stalwarts, Jamie, young Chris and Eduardo, aided by Jeff in the sink were well worked. Plenty staff on the floor but we got there, and eventually I managed to get away by 2.30 p.m.
Seems that there was a very big national University ski competition on at Hillend ski centre which finished yesterday.

Next move here is to try and get my wireless set up fixed - but that is another problem.

So, it will be another early rise in the morning.
