Stayed in tonight having returned a bit later than usual and could not make it to Newbattle on time for their meeting, but I was tired after my late night on Sat. and had kept myself busy all day, moving rubbish and juggling bottles, etc, around the bar.
Had a few in for a blether but sometimes you could do with a tablet to keep you sane when everyone starts on at once, but it can be fun as well.
Heard that one of last nights brawlers has now got a really sore face. Seems the ladies in the "Stand" were behaving likewise on Friday night with one getting a broken nose. Just think what it will be like in the new Wetherspoon's pub when it opens and they all go there to play.
Musselburgh High Street is total chaos just now due to lots of traffic coming through the town to miss the roadworks on the A1, and for some reason there were a lot more ambulances with sirens whizzing through the town today.
Cookie @ Ian, our latest Aussie import managed to get himself into a fight waiting on a bus at London Road, when heading home from watching the Superbowl last night, but he was fine, coped with it Ok, lost his phone, walked all over Musselburgh and eventually found it in his bed.
Mrs. B. took herself out for a walk today and overdid it, ending up having to sleep for a couple of hours to recover.
Phone has been busy all evening, Edwardo called as he leaves for three months in Argentina in the morning. William the brickie and Sandra called from London, their extension is now progressing as he has had better weather than us.
Tomorrow is another day.
