Whistling winds

Now Sunday a.m. and it was wild and windy all night which again did not make for a good sleep.

Saturday, Mrs. B . was bright as button for a change so we had another short runout in the morning to the shops, my favourite - (keep Harrords and Harvey Nicols) Matalan and then onto Asda.

By the time I got home I was feeling a bit off, so I had an afternoons nap and missed the football and the Irish rugby match, but was up much brighter and in time to see Wales turn over England for what was a surprise win at Twickenham.
Headed to the pub, where Paddy, Elaine and Michelle C. were the duty team taking over from a hard workerd Michelle R. and Robbie. Place had been steady most of the day and remained so all evening but seemed to die off around 11.30 p.m. instead of the usual influx. But there had been quite a few in who headed up town to spend their "baw bees" this being pay weekend. Amongst those who stayed we had a few good singers so the karoke was busy.
Perhaps even more are taking part in the regular "lock in" along the street !!.

Some folks waiting on taxi's at 1.45 a.m. said they had been told there was a 45 minute wait so where they all were I have no idea, usually you fall over them.
Place was empty on time so we were all able to get home at a reasonable time.

Now about to load up with the Sunday sandwiches (made today by Mrs. B.), head for Costco en route and get down to The Sportsmans where we have fooball, racing at Musselburgh, and rugby ( Scotland - France) to keep us amused.
