Friday a.m., attended the funeral of Mary Dyer at Mortonhall, massive turn out of over 200 so the big chapel was full. Ann used to work with Mary when they were young and remembered her talking about Jim when they first met in Bonnyrigg.
Our best wishes to Jim and the boys.
The car park was jammed full and fortunately i was well parked to get out and away, but I am sure there was some chaos as others returned to find themselves jammed in.
Down to Musselburgh where Kerrin was holding fort till I arrived. Jackie and Ralph appeared along with Jim Mcnamara, and the place was fairly steady right through till 6 p.m.
Popped into The Mercat on the way home and it was busy with a "Stars in Your Eyes" doo on downstairs, all the other tables taken up and down, and it had been busy for lunch also.
Staff called off again at the last minute so it looks like it might be a late call again for me.
