A long Sunday on the old pins

It has been a long day - up early but had to take the big red bus to town. Nice morning, not cold, roads quiet but this bloke in a blue car managed to get it all wrong heading into Penicuik, no idea what he was playing at but he ended up in the barrier and then spun round in the main road- I was just too slow otherwise I would have had a decent picture.

It is quite good on the bus, except when you are in a hurry, interesting what you see from ten feet up in the air - birds roosting; messy gardens; mucky houses, etc. never mind I eventually got into the West End and walked along to the Mercat.

Turned out to be a busy day, lots of Irish still in town and many having to wait all day, bumped out of their digs, and needing to hang about for flights. We had some nice folks in and this lovely couple from Belfast, Jill and Mark, who had breakfast and later came back for dinner.

Cleaners had their work cut out today, place was in some mess after yesterday, but what can you expect with such a crowd on the premises.

Now home , with sore feet and not going to get much rest before heading back in there again - but weather permitting it will be on the steed of steel.

So England managed to give France a serious hammering at the Six Nations match today, it was good early on but as they ran away with the game it got a bit boring - and on the same theme, the Celtic - Rangers CIS Cup Final was also a waste of time. Neither side really deserved to win - but once again how can these blokes justify the ridiculous saleries they get ?
