A VERY Varied Despatch.

Eventually got packed up and then popped round to see Archie and Co before we hit the A1 northwards. family were fairly fit and well after the evenings adventures. When Tracy finished the dishes, she just popped little Austin into the sink - quite handy, that way she did not miss out on any of the gossip, and the bairn was happy enough.
Just as we were pulling away Grandma Carol and Alan appeared to collect Sarah and head for home, Carol appeared top have suffered no ill affects !! So Archie Tracy was left to cope with the three kids, one big one and two small ones.
Had a nice steady run up the A1 , no way you can hurry as there were four sets of roadworks, the speed cameras, and with it being mainly two lanes we were held up behind lorries, apart from the short bits of dual carriageway. Big difference once you get to the cement works at Dunbar, it is all dual carriageway, right through. The car is obviously still losing oil, with the dash warning light on most of the way despite a little top up.
By the time we got to Penicuik, it seemed to be a lot colder and clouding over, but there was a wee surprise on the doorstep- a very nice bouquet compliments of Sandra and William who we will call later on.
Washing done and already out on the line for a bit of a blow and we are now in need of a snooze.
I see Lewis Hamilton eventually got promoted to third place in the Grand Prix due to Trulli being penalised for an illegal overtake - at the end of the day it is the points which count. Just have to see what McLaren can do with the car before the next race.
Despite being beaten in Holland it looks like the Tartan Army did us proud again with their good behaviour, more than can be said for the Dutch fans. One Scottish fan said that it was the best days window shopping he had ever spent ( in Amsterdam). We now have four crucial matches ahead of us.
The Dunfermline Building Society comes a cropper, just another example of the banking shambles.
Jacqui Smith has her husband working for her as her P.A. ( not the only MP to have family working for them), lives in her sister's house, and has us paying for his porn and .88p bath plugs. We have one thing after another being revealed about this current batch of Politicians, it is no wonder folks are queuing up to get on the gravy train - Harry Cohen with his £300,000 in expenses for his constituency home since 1990 - what about the poor punters? And now they are shipping a batch of women out of Cornton Vale Prison to Greenock Prison as they are fighting in the cells over who gets to see what programme on the TV.
I wonder how the radical Moslem's would deal with them (off with heads I think), which just reminded me of the item the other day about the mobile execution chambers / vans the Chinese are using, a fleet of ultra modern vehicles out and about dispatching the many convicts who are sentenced to death each year.
Just a thought, how did I change the subject from babe in the sink, flowers, to popping of Chinese villains?
