In the bright light of dawn at the Hilton,

No change on last night's report as we awaken to a new and bright day in Sharm El Sheikh - still raving about the birthday party on the beach.

Before going to bed I had a wee walk round the grounds, met the nightshift Duty Manager, again, extremely pleasant and helpful - dropped in to see Mohammed the young Barmen in Latino's Bar and was a bit disgusted listening to one of the drunken Russian guests who was being rude to him - so much for folk saying that we British are bad !!! No way - this is , as Sparky would say, "The Meercats on Tour" - an offshoot of the well respected "Tarten Army" who fly the flag for Scotland all over the World.

RGB's big Birthday cake has, at our request been taken back to the kitchens and today at lunch time we have asked that our fellow guests be offered a (small) piece each .

Nothing exciting planned for today, rest in the sun and then this evening a wander to the bright lights - will not be wearing our costumes as we have caused enough chaos - the way the gossip goes here they might think that three rich sheiks have been in trying to buy the place !!!

Watch this space.
