An Eventful Day

Tuesday - up sharp once again and off to town where having unloaded the car I eventually took it round to the big car park - while parking I spotted Marnie , from "Imarnie" the beauty therapist parking beside me so wound down passenger window to talk to her. Ended up going away and leaving the car wide open all day - it was seen by the NCP people but when they tried to close the window they set off the alarm - but with nothing worth stealing in sight it was OK. - But me - am I getting forgetful.

On the way back to The Mercat Bar spotted yet another driver on a mobile phone - just what is the attraction when earpieces or hands free are so cheap and available. Only thing is, this was an Edinburgh City Council chappie - yet another City employee who thinks local laws do not affect them - just like the fat chappie smoking outside their HQ in Market Street and throwing his fag ends on the pavement rather than using the nearby bins.

Had Sheree, Agneskia and co on with me this morning - so I had peace to rattle on with the painting and eventually got everthing I wanted doing - done, while they prattled on !!! My goodnes they canny hlf blether.
Jamie arrived later on and was working with young Chris in the kitchen, trying to lead him astray once again -while Struan dropped in , looking a bit rough and still sobering up from his trip to Greece.
My friend Kenneth Jack, from Pitlochry, appeared along with his wife and daughter for lunch and a blether, nice to actually meet him face to face after several months of E mail contact - I look forward to seeing him again up on his own home grounds, probably late September.

Bit of an event mid afternoon when a young lady took an epileptic fit and collapsed unconscious in the bus shelter outside The Mercat - first on hand were four Italian tourists and a local chap who called for an ambulance . I was assisting when the first aid responder arrived - by bicycle having ridden down from the High Street , and just before the ambulance. the Scottish Ambulance Service folks were very good and as the girl soon came round and recovered - she had a Medicare pendant round her neck which advised of her condition, good idea.

Our Comedy acts as part of the Free Fringe were on as usual, quite good again , so I managed another photo.
Trying to write this and watch Rangers v Kaunes on the TV at the same time - despite the goals there is very little atmosphere, etc. Score currently 1 - 1 which is in favour of rangers BUT, they are living dangerously.
Hospital tomorrow morning - then will wait and see.
