John's 60th.

Headed off after a quick shower off along the m8 to Glasgow, down the M74 and there was a bloody diversion so we had to trail an extra ten miles before we eventually made it to Cambuslang.
Met up with Robbie and Christina, their respective partners and my Brother in law Tom with his wife Isobel , and we had to go into hiding till Christine returned from a pub where she had been carrying out a diversionary tactic with John. He was really surprised to see us all - so the night went off with loads of banter and reminiscing, as we had not seen much of each other for a while.

Christine told us of an incident in Glasgow the previous night :- she had been out with friends, gone for a carry out pizza and was sitting in a bus shelter eating the pizza waiting when a Chinese couple stopped, the woman with the usual bunch of roses which she started waving in Christina's face - in the meantime the man grabbed her purse and stuck it in his jacket, however young Miss C. saw this, started screaming , punched him in the face when he then flung down the purse and she kicked the female. Both took off chased by Ms. "seriously annoyed, who eventually found Police and reported it.
LESSON - be aware of the Chinese flower sellers / thieves.

So at the end of the evening we had to leave to get home for work this morning, fast run along the M8 and in bed by 1 a.m.
