Ian Nimmo - the legend

Friday - allowed a long lie till 7.30 a.m. - but the sun was shining - hooray, as they say a good drying day.

Pottered and tidied up before heading down to SAC for a job there, then on to Loanhead to see Alan Gay at PSS, Pentland Security Systems, Loanhead - a sort of disturbed Hibs supporter - anyway they are both saving for their daughters wedding later this year.

Down to Bonnyrigg to see Grant at Photogenix for a quick blether then up the road.

Managed to get the cases packed for the morning , early rise with Sparky Mark coming to pick us up.

Later went to Lasswade Rugby Club for Ian Nimmo's retiral doo, leaving Dalkeith after 35 years - when he joined he started with me at Loanhead, along with John Kelly and between them nearly had me grey haired . He was a real character, a joker / comedian but with real personality, well liked by everyone and after all these years a true professional. There was a really good attendance with many of my former colleagues and some even older than me there.

Need to wait and see what access I have to a PC over the next dew days.
