Well, worked away quietly all morning and through lunch - missing Lawrence who has not reported for "duty" these past two days - hopefully he is OK.
Headed for the car and there in the NCP Car park, Morrison Street. It was a hive of activity and looking like a Martian landscape with mounds of hardcore all around, and a gang of NCP Operatives, shovels in hand filling in the holes in the ground. The "gang" consisted of three chaps, all observing a young lady who was doing her best to demonstrate to the blokes how to use their shovels !!! The lad with the fag in hand was probably going to try single hand shovelling which is not too clever. BUT they were making headway so I look forward to my next visit to see the progress. The lads did not look as though they would appreciate having their photographs taken .
