Sat. a.m. and in neeed of a physio.

Thursday I was going to head the blog "500 Miles" after the song by the Frenchman , Richard Anthony - way back in late 60's.

Anyway - headed in here to The Mecat for 7 a.m. on Friday and was still here at 10 p.m. and had been working all that time apart from a couple of hours a.m. when I had a meeting with a legal person - by the time I got home the old back was playing up - and having worn a pair of dress shoes with no cushioning my feet, ankles and shins were aching.

Bar was busy most of the day, apart from the usual lull after lunch - but we got hammered as of 4 p.m., and of course it was night one of the Burns Suppers. Place looked great and we had forty six visitors , meal was excellent with , vegetable broth; haggis neeps and tatties with a Glayva sauce; Cranachan and tea or coffee accompanied by red or white wine throughout.
There were toast to the Haggis ; the lassies, replies, Immortal Memory; a piper and a musician - so it looks as though everyone enjoyed themselves.

My turn to sit down and be fed tonight as part of the second session with another forty two attending.

Need to finish meantime
