Now about to sit and watch a Steven Segal movie "Renegade Justice", for a while anyway , and while the coughing is suppressed.

Was bad this afternoon - but not the flu, as I was still standing and capable of walking .

Went to the local Tesco's where I always bump into folks I know, and today was no exception , met Rosie, one of Prince's Trust girls from many years ago, she is quite a character and a much changed person from the girl I took away on one of the PT training weeks. I then met Fergus Cuthbert , a former scout and now a paramedic in Edinburgh along with his father Jim, and daughter Coala, another Irish name. We took Fergus on our first trip to L'Isle sur la Sorgue, France with the Scouts, weather was blistering hot , there were forest fires along the south coast, etc. all the boys were warned about staying out in the sun without protection , and Fergus ( with red hair) got very badly burnt and had to be taken to the home of a local where he was nursed back to health. We spent one week under canvas and another staying at the homes of French scouts.

Heard from Carolleanne and Dennis who are now back in Dublin , just did not have the time to get up to Penicuik while they were over.

I am pleased to see that Andy Murray has won his first tournament of the season , one of the papers was showing him as the highest paid British sportsman , and nice to see Sir Chris Hoy getting benfits for his efforts at long last.

Due to be ever so chilly tonight , so I will not be sleeping out in the conservatory, hopefully up and fit enough to work a.m. as we need cover for the staff who are going to go to Clair's Grandad's funeral.
