Now 5.30 and I have just had Tam call off at The Sportsmans when he was supposed to start at 7 p.m. so it looks like my weekend is going to be goosed again if I cannot get any extra cover.
Earlier my "best man" Graeme Mackay (Rat catcher) of GM Pest Control came down to look in my loft to see what was creeping about last night. He thinks that it is a bird, probably a starling roosting at night, but has popped down some bait boxes and will have a look again in a couple of days.
We have been friends for about forty plus years and were married about a year apart, both the same age to within ten days.
