Computers are a pain in the a***

I Have just spent three hours to book a flight to Cardiff next week and then try to get a hotel in Cardiff so that we can go to the Heiniken Rugby Cup Final at the Millenium Stadium next Saturday. Nearest we could get a hotel was in SDwaqnsea, 34 miles away and they were charging the earth - but it is now sorted. From the folks I have spoken to it looks like you do have to go for miles to get a room - which is a bit like the Edinburgh area when the big games are on here.

Today I was up at 5.30 a.m. and out in the garden at 6.30 a.m. when a hot air baloon passed overhead - Ann and Graham eventually surfaced and we headed into the Mercat for breakfast so that Ann could go to the shops, while I stayed and worked on.

Home later, weather was nice so I took a walk through the parks where there was a football match on the all weather pitch, skateboarders on the skateboard site, a cup final on the Penicuik Athletic Pitch, and a big archery competition in the playing fields which had been going on for two days. There were teams here from all over the UK , from England and as far north as Orkney - I think the two blokes carrying the butt had kept missing so they were cheating a wee bit !! NOT just resetting the distances.
Sandra sent an E mail from Portugal, they have been missing our company, normally when it was overcast we would all jump into the jacuzzie and have some bubbly amongst the bubbles, however I think she has been jumping off the wardrobe as she has hurt her ankle!!!

Back to the garden for a while , then onto this machine to do my head in.
