I only discovered yesteray that my old boss and next door neighbour George Summors died on the 14th March and no one let me know about it.
George was a superb piper and an international judge, travelling at short notice to Pipe band competitions all,over the world.
He , Nancy and his daughters, Carol and Keren lived next door to us in Bog Road when we were first married then they moved nearby before leaving to go to Creetown and Annan, in Dumfriesshire. George took very ill, suffered a double lower limb amputation, and eventually asked fore his daily dialises to be switched off.
God Rest his soul.
