Been hectic since Monday afternoon's notes.
I went back to the Mercat Monday night along with Sparky Mark and after being fed we did some more shelving and electrical work in the kitchen after it was closed and cleaned for the night - so hopefully Claire will get a nice we surprise when she returns today.
The bar kept getting flooded, so Mark managed to fix a choked waste pipe - which makes a change for hime to cure a problem rather than cause the flooding !!
The Monday Comedy Club was pretty busy down stairs in the Mercat - one of these days I will get the chance to go and listen to them.
We eventually got home at 1.15 a.m. Tuesday morning so it was a bit of a long shift, anyway up at the toot again Tuesday as Dougie and Cody the dog were in to finish off all the painting - this meant that I could not get near the computer for the day due to the wet paint, but instead I just had to keep working away at all the final touches around skirtings and in the hall before new carpets go down tomorrow.
Mrs B and Claire arrived back at 5 p.m. to find self, Mark and Graham sampling a few "Millers" to keep up the energy levels whilst working away.
The Girls had had a great time at Peebles Hydro, said it was great value for money - there were lots of folks in on two for one offers out the papers, etc.
Popped over to see my neighbout Mike who is still making up wedding invitation cards for his daughter Shelly - talk about cheap labour, and with Mrs. A. laid out on the couch directing operations.
Eventually collapsed into bed - the old Duracell batteries having given up on the pacemaker - so now it is off, up and running once again - someday I will get the chance to lie quietly, sedated in a darkened room.!!!
Not even had the time to go see Photogenix Grant yet to get the Prague photos printed, and with Graham and I off to Cardiff on Friday morning for the rugby it looks like time is still aginst me.
