A long day was Friday

Friday was busy after i did my early " post", headed back to the Mercat, dumped the car and toddled along to Jessops to change my battery , but guess what, they had no CV1616 's at all, tried Boots who had the next nearest but so far no luck. On the way back i spotted this young lady in an upstairs flat near the haymarket, quite happy with fag, white wine, feet up and watching the world pass by.
Mr and Mrs Millar appeared for his retiral doo along with a group of his work mates and had a great time to themselves, Linda and Ian had a go at pouring a pint so perhaps we might take them for some work experience, like myself. As it was only his first few hours of retirement he was not bored yet. He and his friends, managed a good eight hour session up untill the time I left at 12 mn. Obviously there were those in the group who could not se others in the limelight without trying to get into the photo, just like the wavers and shakers on the TV.
One young lady had knickers which reached up to nearly her neck, which was a bit of a sight, and there was another who was adamant that she was there to try a job as barmaid, and I thought that Brian at Musselburgh was bad !!!
Sparky joined us but was sensible enough to take a lift home with Graham and myself.
Up sharp this morning to the sound of horses as the Hunter and Lass passed the door heading for the main gathering and the ride out to Penicuik House and then up into the Pentlands. With such a lovely day it should be a good fun day out for the family in the local park, however we are off shortly to Nunraw Abbey in Garvald, so watch this space.
Certainly missing Robbie and Caitlin in the pub, so I hope they are doing well in Oz.
