Brass monkey morning

Bloody chilly last night, even the brass monkeys were holding onto their assets this morning.

Mrs. B. in better fettle today - with a couple of visitors ( Doreen and Carol) to keep her occupied while I was out.

Gas board are working in Bog Road, but they are not as bad as this lot were, and this was allegedly a busy dual carriageway.

Went to town with Graham and popped by to see Chris's Ma at Fairmilehead. At 2.30 a.m. some mindless twats flung large rocks at her newly fitted front windows and smashed three of them. Fortunately they were double glazed so the stones did not get through to the rooms. this is the second time in two weeks, and I heard that other neighbours had had their windows put in three times recently . So much for living in a so called nice bit of the town.

There was a nice wee crash at the Pavilion Restaurant where someone had obviously had a super spin on the black ice and ended up through a hedge and into the front of an electric sub station.

Graham off to work, but with Edinburgh rugby playing and a birthday party tonight, he was not planning on driving !! So far he has worked sixty hours this week, so we will not begrudge him a beer tonight.
