The people you meet

After the chaos of the morning, caused by the snow and several accidents all around the area which caused everything to rind to a halt.
I made it to town by bus, simple and free !! where i mey my brother in law, John and Chritine at the hospital; Ann was up on her feet, had eaten her first meal in 9 days and although dopey was taking an active part in all that was going on. She says ??? she will be out tomorrow - but!!!

Anyway, her fellow patient, an 82 yr old Polish lady , married 62 yrs to her huspand who is 88 today , was telling us how she helped him and his friend escape from the Germans during the war when they were captured in Poland. How her friends and family hid him until the Russians liberated the area, just facinating.

I had to walk part way back to the Mercat, as our City Fathers have authorised yet more road works in the Haymarket area and the place was grid locked at tea time. Sat for a while with Graham and co but decided to head for home rather than sit in the pub and wait for the new session of The Comedy Club to start, hope it deos well.

Cannot even be bothered with my wine tonight.
