Its pure poetry

to follow on from last night, I eventually made it out into the open air for a four hour stint outside the door of the pub, where one is totally exposed to the whims of passing life and the smoking public.

For me who told the doctor that I did not smoke, this was a big fib, I must smoke about one hundred a night standing there surrounded in plumes of reek from the clientelle !! But what is more intersting is the social interaction!! which takes place between them and also with those standing outside the pub next door - none of this wandering along to chat, just shout at the top of the voice. And those there, sober, semi drunk, then drunk, same stories, questions, confusion - all adding to my need for some form of sedative. Of course, last night the fact that I was still having eyesight problems did not help.

Young lady, fitted with massive false eyelashes, like sunshades appeared with a number of her friends, out to celebrate her birthday. She wa about to light up her umteenth fag when this giant Hummer limo, PINK 1, appeared, much to her delight which led to a near knicker wetting session !!
Turned out the Limo was there to take her into Edinburgh for a party, so moments later she was out at the driver " hey gadgie, how do get into this fu***ing motor", then her and her ten friends were loaded up, shown where the booze was, music turned right uop and off they went.

My friend Willie arrived, complete with milk bottle specs, lovely wee chap, all the bus drivers, police know him, so when lost, staggering or just lying on the pavement he somehow manages to get home.

End of the night, was busy, made it home by 3 a.m. and Ann was sitting up waiting./

Long lie this morning, up , but Ann was keen to get some fresh air, so off she went to get the papers, full of fizz - but returned like a ghost - shattered, which put her back in bed for the rest of the day. Again - lesson learned - listen to your body, i.e. if your belly rumbles and bum smells go to the toilet.

P.M. down to Bonnyrigg for a R.A. meeting , set the tChapter up for Tuesday and have a wee meeting with those present - great - just super, these guys are so enthusiastic, keen, and helpfull.

Sparky was my driver, so back via Costco, where we bought beer, food, etc, and got home where we made the dinner for Ann.

Was watching "Time team" from Barra in the Outer Hebrides, just spectacular, and totally enthralling to think of the type of civilisation which lived there for over 600 years from 500 BC to 100 AD.
In Lewis there are the best beaches in Europe and some fo the best surfing waves in the World, but the sheer logistics and cost of getting there put thousands off the trip.

Tonight it was "Black Stump" Australian red to accompany my ribs and roast chicken.
