Duvet day - maybe

Me - very restless night, while Ann slept OK - had to waken her at 6 a.m. to pop her pills.

Anyway, having come down and looked out at the weather and pouring rain, first the floods then the pestilence, I now know why folks have duvet days. It is very tempting just to go back to bed and pull the covers over your head. The forecast is not too clever either.
With no natural light the SAD syndrome can easily overwhelm one.

Andrea sent a text last night to say she had made it home safely to Milwaukee, and was missing us already, probably my toast and egg sandwiches.

Had the brakes fixed on the VW Chevanne during the last two days. Ian the mechanic, was saying that it was more expensive to repair than the BMW and his garage only charges £62 per hour labour !!!!

I see that yet another chap in the USA has hit the headlines, having apparantly murdered his three young children by throwing them off a bridge and into the sea - just what kind of world do we live in?

This mornings advice - " always keep tubes of haemorrhoid cream and Deep Heat rub well separated in the bathroom cabinet".
