Bright sunny Wednesday - and a few notes.

Bit of a rush tonight, sort of tired this morning due to a late night, car frozen over as were a couple of bits of Lowries Den which led to a moment or two of raised heartbeats and the twitching of the nether regions.

Bar was fairly quiet during the early part of the day although my first customer, a Frenchman from Paris did tuck into the full Clansman breakfast, just to set him up for the day.
Running around doing all sorts of quick chores and I came across my newly cleaned and pressed jacket , thanks to Jodi at Leme, but if I had not found it by accident it would still have been there.

Despite the apparent progress being made by the tramworks people, big furore in the paper and on the TV tonight as the main Contractor, a German Company are still at loggerheads with the City Council, and say that there will be even longer delays and an unknown escalation of the costs. raises the question , we knew they never won the war - so why should we expect them to be able to complete this job !! - ouch .

Had to head for Bookers Cash and Carry on the way home, but poor show as they did not have several of the items I wanted - so although it was not a wasted journey , it was not far off.
Need to curtail my efforts tonight - late and Mrs B not in her usual sparkling form.

Listening to RGB upstairs in his room , I now fully appreciate why laminate flooring is banned by some housing associations and local authorities in multi occupancy dwellings - the racket is terrible.

Tickets are out for the RA 500 Social at Bonnyrigg, Friday 30th April 2010 and they have a cabaret act on the Bill - need to get some tickets sold.
