Late night last night having met up with two young ladies from the UK, Suzanne from Broxburn and Solvey from Reading, both school chums originally from Ayrshire who had arrived earlier in the evening.
Sun was shining again, but a bit windy and blowing sand all over the place, but it eventually died down about 10 a.m. so it was a roasting day once more.
Plenty of activities taking place when I had a walkabout, bowls; aqua robics; football, darts; and along the front there were lots of swimmers in snorkling off the floating jetties. The water was teeming with fish, however a couple off young lads were feeding them when it was forbidden in order to save the eco system.
I did eventually take the plunge and have a wee swim, very nice and the sea water was warmer than the pool.
Met the GM Mr Ismail Shady who was doing his rounds in the dining room . Ahmed Samy the Dining room Manager was really happy to see his photo on last nights blog.
The photographers were doing great work, the light at this time of the year is perfect for them, I am just sorry I decided not to bring my big camera with me.
When the sun went down we took ourselves out the complex, and took the shortcut (200 yards) over the waste ground and into the next part of the resort which houses the Hilton Sharks Bay and the Concorde which are bigger and newer hotels, and leads along to a shopping centre called Soho Square. On the way back there was poor camel tethered to a stake and settling down for the night, no wonder it had taken the hump !!!
Nice choice for dinner tonight, but it will be an earlier night - this enjoying yourself is a bit tiring.
